Phil Davies Joins Gatland Revolution

Phil Davies Becomes Associate of Call of the Wild

Welsh rugby legend, Wales' most capped forward, former coach of the Llanelli Scarlets and Leeds rugby Union team has joined the Call of the Wild. Phil will assit in the prepartion and delivery of our programmes.

Pdavies3 Phil's real experience of people development, leadership coaching and team performance in a high pressured environment has powerful lessons for business leaders. The issues encountered with leadership and team performance are common to both sport and business. With Phil's amiable charismatic style he is able to convey the lessons learnt during his exceptional sporting career and skilfully communicate how these can be transferred to a business environment.

Phil is best known as on of Wales' most capped rugby union forwards. He had a 14 year playing career, representing the British Lions, captaining of Wales, gaining 46 caps, and over 350 games for Llanelli. A second career in professional Rugby Union as a coach and Director of Rugby resulting in an extensive knowledge and understanding of the business of the game. An experienced and respected Director of Rugby with a proven track record of nurturing talent, delivering on objectives and making hard decisions in a pressurised environment. An enthusiastic, loyal manager and leader of people with strong core values, innovative thinking and real energy and commitment for what he is doing.

Teamwork leads Wales to success

What a difference two years make! This season,s remarkable turn around of Welsh rugby was difficult to envisage after the 2003 season when the Welsh team failed to win any of their five six nations games, the interesting thing is that the nucleus of players was the same as the current Welsh Team.

It is both inspirational and instructive to look at what has brought about this huge change in fortune.
