The BBC 's "Apprentice" is back with Alan Sugar again in top form. 16 new contestants have, allegedly given up, well paid jobs to take part in the new series. You have to question soem of these peoples motives for being on the show. However they have been selected from 10,000 applicants apparently. The star of the show is as always Alan Sugar who's wonderful one liners and put downs are the highlight of the show. he seems to be able to sum up in a witty sometimes down right rude one liner the issue. Excellent TV.

Call of the Wild Appear on BBC TV

Call of the Wild this week, 27th March 2007, appeared on BBC Wales' Current Affairs programme "Week In Week Out". The programme examined the current energy debate and looked at the contribution coal could make again to the UK's energy needs. Obviously this is a very topical debate at present given the Government's statements concerning the need for nuclear, the developent of renewables and our increasing reliance on overseas sources. Call of the Wild's contribution related to the potential environmental impact. If this can be managed then there is no reason why small operations couldn't start up.  However the concensus is that  the industry would first have to clean up its act. Aberthaw Power Station, the main market for Welsh mines, spews out between five and six million tonnes of carbon dioxide a year. 

New Property Added to Portfolio

Call of the Wild are pleased to announce the addition of another property to our portfolio. We have purchased a public house with accommodation located a few miles south of the Brecon Beacons National Park. It is a village location and being the last pub in the village we are proud to have saved it from closing. This adds to our existing 70 acre training centre situated within the Park, our cafe, bar and accommodation known as Merlins and our offices.

Do they give an indication of the demographic of internet users and an idea of what advertising campaigns have taken place that month - did Argos have a sale on? Also there is food for thought in respect of the marketing mix. If companies such as Argos are using traditional advertising mediums such as TV to advertis a sale does thier website keep pace given that it will recieve a higher number of visitors.

This is a reality show where in the last series Ben Fogle took people trekking in the Andes, across Arctic glaciers, through the Guyanan jungle and up Mount Kilimanjaro.
